Chelsea continued their unbeaten streak in the Conference League as João Félix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Christopher Nkunku all scored in a 4-1 win over Panathinaikos.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall‘s cross found Félix on the left before the Portugal forward headered the ball over to Mudryk and bought himself time to get into position to find the back of the net in the 22nd minute .
The Mudryk-Felix link-up did not remain exclusive to the first half after Panathinaikos lost the ball deep in their own half and the Ukraine international crossed to Félix as the striker netted Chelsea’s third goal of the night in the 55th minute.
Between the two assists, Mudryk scored a goal himself, in the 48th minute, after latching onto a Pedro Neto cross.
A handball in the 59th minute cost Panathinaikos a four-goal deficit as Nkunku converted a penalty in the bottom-left corner.
Chelsea failed to keep a clean sheet, however, as Panathinaikos’ Facundo Pellistri scored the home-side one redeeming goal.
